Tonight’s song selections will be announced from the stage.

 Mark and Maggie’s musical collaboration began in 2014.  Perfecting the finer points of Mark’s American Classical violin duos went so well, they decided to get married. The next stage of their musical journey turned into a larger family collaboration for which they each took home a Grammy for playing bluegrass in the O’Connnor Band.

With a year-and-a-half of isolation from touring during the world-wide pandemic, they dedicated their days towards further musical growth together.  The couple work shopped new songs during seventy weekly online concerts from their home; “Mondays with Mark and Maggie”.

Their time spent in isolation resulted in an Americana album project of mostly original vocal songs, other popular songs re-imagined and all of them supported by a small universe of acoustic instruments.

Tonight’s program offers a broad collection of American music through violin/fiddle solos and duos, augmented by Americana vocal song treatments.

* There will be a 15-minute intermission*
