Englewood Methodist Women’s Scholarship Program
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be actively involved in Englewood Methodist Church/EMC Youth Programs and a current graduating High School senior from an area high school serving Englewood, Venice or North Port, Florida.
- Applicant must plan to attend an accredited institute of higher learning, college or university next fall.
- Applicant must have an accumulated 3.0 grade point average for the first seven semesters of high school.
- Applicant must have shown outstanding citizenship in church, school and community.
- Financial need must be shown and will be considered after the above criteria.
- Scholarships will be given to current graduating seniors only & can only be used for college tuition, college fees (like Labs, etc.) and books supporting college classes at the institute of higher learning indicated on the EMW application by applicant.
Application Deadline: noon on March 31, 2026

Englewood Methodist Men’s Scholarship Program
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The Englewood Methodist Men (EMM) value education and want to support that effort through a Scholarship Program. Perspective scholarship recipients can apply by completing the application form and submitting it to the EMM Scholarship Committee.
- Applicant must be active in the Englewood Methodist Church.
- Applicant intends to attend college, university, or post high school institution this fall.
- Applicant must have an accumulated 3.0 grade point average in high school or show continuing good progress in college.
- Applicant must have shown outstanding citizenship in church, school and community.
- Applicant must be a full-time student or its equivalent.
Application Deadline: March 1st of the funding year.
Recipients Announced: May of the funding year.
