The Mustard Seed Society is a special recognition society initiated in 1999 for church members and supporters who wish to make gifts to the Englewood Methodist Church Permanent Endowment Fund. The Society celebrates stewardship through planned giving and encourages others to do the same.
We are blessed that many “saints” who have expressed their love of EMC have made gifts from their estates, in conjunction with their professional advisors, to grow our Permanent Endowment Fund to almost $2 million today. A percentage of the fund is allocated each year to help pay for needed improvements and programs at EMC. A gift to the Permanent Endowment Fund will benefit EMC in perpetuity!
Our annual Mustard Seed Society Luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, February 24 at 12:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Invitations have been mailed and RSVPs are requested by February 18 by calling Linda in the church office at 941.474.5588.
Interested in joining? The only requirement is to either make a current gift of $1,500 or more or indicate your commitment to at least arrange over the next few months a planned gift valued at $1,500 or more to benefit the EMC Permanent Endowment Fund.
