Thanksgiving may come and go without having any effect on our lives. However, because what Thanksgiving calls us to is so important to our growth in Christ, we must not let the day go by without catching it’s spirit. Today we will see how the ancient instructions to the children of Israel before entering the Promised Land fits our day, our age and our land. Something so ancient is so very contemporary! In the process we will be ready to properly celebrate Thanksgiving!
