SERMON DESCRIPTION

Jeremiah is called by God to be a prophet to the nations.  Before he was even born. Jeremiah was destined for greatness for God. God did not see Jeremiah’s age even though Jeremiah did. Jeremiah was concerned about his youthfulness and his ability to lead. Often, we look at our young people and dream about what they will do when they grow up. For God, the youth are more than capable for great things right now.

This sermon will focus on the aspect of God’s will is ageless. Seeing the children and the youth as active participants in God’s Kingdom is important. Jesus called on the young children all the time, we as adults need to put more faith in our young people. The challenge is to be more intentional in our interaction with the young people. We need to walk alongside them, encourage them, and help them see their role in the Kingdom.
