SERMON DESCRIPTION
We may be self-conscience about wearing the ashes tonight but really we wear the ashes of our lives all the time in all circumstances. Tonight we simply acknowledge this smudge on our foreheads as representing all the ash heaps we’ve accumulated. And we give it all to God. God makes new life out of the ashes we surrender to Him. Such is the journey of Lent. Such is the hope of Easter!
